Phase 2 Theory: The Interdimensional Being's Warning

So like, at the end of Phase 1, the Interdimensional Being straight up warns everyone that something bigger is coming. Ngl, this felt like way more than just a throwaway line. Most of us think Phase 2 is gonna explore what that warning actually meant.

The leading theory is that Mark Heffley wasnt working alone. The Being seemed almost... concerned? Like it knew something about the StarGazer or Marks plans that we don't yet. Some fans think Mark might've been trying to contact the Being, or maybe he accidentally opened a door he couldn't close. Either way, Phase 2 probably deals with the consequences of Phase 1's events on a bigger scale.

Theres also speculation that Kasey and the Theaneb dimension are gonna be way more important. Like, Kasey's trapped there and obsessed with the pocketwatch. What if Phase 2 is about her actually escaping? Or the dimension destabilizing? The Being's warning kinda implies reality's still in danger, not just Montreal.

Honestly, Matthew's death is prolly gonna haunt the trio too. Pat and Sarah cant just move on like normal. Theyre gonna have to deal with grief while facing whatever cosmic horror the Being was warning them about. Itd be pretty fitting for the tone of the show tbh.

We're all just waiting for news on Phase 2 at this point lol. The warning was too ominous to ignore.
