The Magical Pocketwatch: Accident Over Destiny

Pat's pocketwatch is basically just a chaos magnet that everyone thinks is important, but it's really just coincidence saving the day.
ngl, Pat's pocketwatch is kinda hilarious. Everyone acts like it's gonna end the world, but it's really just a chaos magnet that attracts weird supernatural nonsense and dangerous people. Not helpful at all.
Kasey Heffley spends Phase 1 obsessed with stealing it, convinced it'll let him conquer dimensions. Plot twist: his dad Mark is the actual villain running things with the StarGazer invention. The pocketwatch was just a distraction the whole time.
What actually saves Montreal? Pat, Sarah, and Matthew working together. Matthew literally dies for it in "A Fading Shamrock," which was brutal. The watch just put them in the right place at the right time—the people were the real heroes, not the watch. By Phase 2 it feels like a loose thread tbh. Basically proves that Clover Chaos is random chance beating destiny, and being confused matters just as much as being a hero.
